About R.E.L.A.T.E Ministries

Six years ago, the Lord brought my wife and I to live in the American Farms community. We are continuously impressed with hard working, talented and God fearing members of the neighborhood. Like many others, we joined and participated in a local church and worked diligently to help it grow. God soon began to remind us that he always sends us to a place with a mission. Not long thereafter, it became glaringly apparent to me the drain of talent, finances, and spiritual gifts from our own neighborhood as we are not actively working to build up American Farms. I believe we can all agree that our communities could use a bit more attention. Be assured we have nothing against local churches. I highly respect them. I am asking you to consider being a missionary to your neighborhood by participating with this new outreach.

Sincerely,

Pastor DeWayne Thomas

Our Church

Finally a Word based Church that has bible studies small enough for you to hear and deep enough to challenge you. Experience the enriching overcoming power packed truths of life that nurtures relationships in a informal, relaxed small group environment. You want to know where you fit, what’s your purpose “Come let us reason together in the scripture” Isaiah 1:18.

Wouldn’t it be great to know who you are and what you have in God? His word invites us to do just that. “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God” 1 Cor 2:12.

How can we promise you the opportunity for a close up intimate relationship with God? The answer is House Church. This is the first and the original way God lead the first century church. “Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ” Act 5:42. The people of God or looking for the simplicity of God’s word without all add-ons of man. Simple Church is not new news but it is good news and it is the best news sense news was news. What is a Simple Church?

When You Come Together

A typical Sunday worship service would consist of the following: Prayer, Praise and Worship Songs, Lesson with the youth and the 20 minute word presentation and a 20 minute discussion and application session. After that, we come together to eat and fellowship. Folk join in to help clean up and we go to our homes.

The leadership at our church wants to hear the revelation that God is sharing with us. They believe that if they are teaching us the word of God and we are studying we should be hearing something from God. Our pastor reminds us that Jesus expected the same from his disciples. Check this out: "When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that you are John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He said to them, But whom say you that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also to you, That you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

We believe that growth is an essential proof of life and reproduction or fruit is what ensures the next generations of saints. Are we sometimes challenged? My answer is yes. But it’s all good Every part of the body is essential and should be appreciated as we all grow up together unto the stature of Christ Jesus.

Come experience the closeness of God’s love as He has always wanted us to know.

If you not sure, come check out one of our Informational Teas. In this meeting we provide a quick over view of the entire ministry both the church and the community services .
